I had the pleasure of serving in the legislature with John, back when we were the young guys in the House and we worked on many of the same political campaigns. I must say we had a lot of fun and a lot of laughs. But outside of politics, John was a friend, a good guy and a truly nice person. To the entire Wallace family, I am so sorry for your loss. I am a very fortunate person to have known John.

I am very sad for your family's loss. John and I had reconnected a couple years ago and he shared great memories with me. He was a great person with an equally great sense of humor. Rest in peace, John.
