RYAN, Paul J. In Largo FL formerly of Allston, July 22, 2016. Beloved husband of Deirdre Whelan. Devoted father of Sara and Ariel Collazo, Amy and Shaun Ryan all of Cambridge. Step-father of Brian and Wendy Whelan of Brookline. Brother of the late Ross Martin Jr. Grandfather of Telia Mercado, Nila and Matias Collazo, Orla and Oona Ryan, Sean and Siobhan Whelan. Uncle of Delaney and Ross Martin. Nephew of Mary Delaney. Brother-in-law of Trudy Martin. Also survived by many cousins and friends. Paul was a devoted family man. A friend of Bill W. for 30 years. An avid fisherman from Ireland to Belize, Montana, Key West and Cape Cod. A Civil War and World War II historian. A member of Gettysburg N.P. for 25 years. A Charter member of the World War II museum in New Orleans. An enthusiastic fan of Jazz and Big Band Music. He enjoyed being a licensed Boston Tour Guide with the Old Town Trolley.
