Robert H. Plunkett Jr.

Age 85, died Sunday, December 30, 2007. Husband of Theresa (Pavia) Plunkett with whom he celebrated 60 wonderful years of marriage in January, 2007. Son of the late Robert H. and Evelyn (Carter) Plunkett, Sr. Father of Robert H. Plunkett, III and his wife Janet of Sutton and James Plunkett and his wife Donna of Hopkinton; grandfather of Derek Plunkett and his wife Cheryll of Medway, Jason and Kevin Plenkett both of Putnam, CT, Stephanie and Rebecca Plunkett both of Hopkinton; great-grandfather of Drew and Samantha Plunkett both of Medway. Brother of the late Billy and George Plunkett, Dorothy Oulette and Norma Montagano. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Saturday, Janaury 5 at 9 AM from the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. (Corner of Union Ave.) FRAMINGHAM followed by his funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverly Rd., Rte 135, Framingham. Burial will follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham. Visiting hours Friday at the funeral home from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimers Assoc. MA Chaper, 311 Arsenal Rd., Watertown, MA 02472. Graduate Taunton HS where he starred in basketball and baseball. Served his country in the Navy during WWII. Avid golfer, had 4 hole-in-ones, enjoyed golfing with friends, his sons, and his grandchildren. Member Bay Point Country Club, Wareham, where he lived and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
