Those were the good old days when for 45 years Rose assisted me in my electronic circuit design consulting business. She transcribed and edited technical writing, kept the books, purchased electronic parts, paid all the bills, and did a lot of things that made my life easier. Rose was a wonderful, caring person, helpful and cheering on all the members of my family. She will always be in our hearts.

Rose was a great neighbor and friend to my Mom, Joan. They would chat about the Red Sox and run errands for each other when times were tough. Thoughts and prayers are with you John!

John, Nancy and Family. We are so sad to hear the news of Rose' passing. She was, in short, a lovely caring woman. We so enjoyed chatting with her while she was out caring for her beautiful flowers. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

I lived a few houses from Rose for 40 years. I have great memories of John and our son, Tommy having sleepovers in their backyard and Rose watching from her yard as Tommy walked thru the yards with his pillow to meet her and John. God Bless your Mom, John. She loved you dearly. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and Nancy, Daniel, and MacKenzie

Rose Cox and I worked together for about 45 years. As part-time secretary, working at my home in Lexington, she kept my electronic circuit design consulting business running smoothly. Her skill at shorthand and editing enabled me to make proposals and reports in one shot. A bit old fashioned, Rose resisted changing from a portable mechanical typewriter to an office electronic type, and later to a computer and printer. But she did it, and learned enough of each to take advantage of their new capabilities.

Rose was always looking out for my interest, steering me away from trouble, and checking that I and members of my family were OK. We all miss her so much.

To John, Nancy and family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Your mom was such a great person and a big part of our lives. We will miss her, but never forget her. There were so many laughs over the years and this will help us get through the next few days. In time, we hope that when you think of her a smile will immediately come to your face instead of sadness. We are here to help at any time.
Love,
Ray, Barbara, Kathleen and Maureen

My heartfelt sympathy to John and his family. I enjoyed Rose Marie's company both at the Wayland Women's Club and Parmenter Food Pantry. I will never forget our conversation on August 6th before Rose left for the hospital for a MRI. I feel blessed that I have know her. Pauline M. DiCesare

Rose was a dear friend and a dedicated volunteer at the Parmenter Food Pantry for many years. She had a great sense of humor and loved to talk about the Red Sox. She will be missed by the many people she has helped during her time there, and by her fellow volunteers. Rest in peace, Rose.
