Just read of Russell's passing. Living here in Texas, I occasionally check out the obits in the Walpole Times and saw his name there today. Growing up, my house was on the corner of East Street & Eastover Rd. House used to be red and had a white picket fence on two sides. The Nelsons had the house on the corner across from our house. The Olsons had the big house on the top of the Eastover Rd. There weren't any other houses on Eastover Rd at that time. We used to play in the woods down behind the Olson's house. I left Walpole in 1959 to join the Air Force so have not seen Russell since but I do have fond memories of our childhood together. My sincere condolences to Alan, Ann and Jean and the extended Olson family. RIP Russell.
