Hi Michael,
I'm sorry to learn of the passing of your mother. I remember your mother and father and all of us kids as we were growing up in West Roxbury. I remember your parents stopping by our house to tell us about their various trips. I stop at your family's grave each time I visit my parents' grave. Please take care.

A recent trip to my brother Jack's pool was a chance to recall the great times we spent at Aunt Ruth's and Uncle Bob's pool in Dedham. It was always a treat to visit Aunt Ruth, to drink as much root beer soda as we wanted, and to spend time with our cousins.
As children we always looked forward to Aunt Ruth's and Unlce Bob's visit during our beach vacations. These happy memories will be cherished whenever we gather at Jack's pool or visit our families at the beach.

I loved Aunt Ruths mischiefousness too. When calling our home she would always ask me if I were behaving myself. Ofcourse as a kid, I always said "no". She always responded "good". There was a kid inside her dying to express itself. That quality came through frequently. Her smile was infectious as was her laughter. She will be dearly missed. I hope that she is now in peace and no more sufferring for her.

I will always remember Aunt Ruth as a fun loving and mischievous woman. She had such a warm and infectious smile and grin and was full of love of her family and life. I hope that she is now united with the family she loved greatly, and that she knows how much she is loved and appreciated. Her niece, Moira Monahan McCarthy
