THOMAS FRANCIS CONNOLLY III

1936 - 2015

CONNOLLY, Thomas Francis III Died on Dec. 24th, 2015 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth. He was the devoted husband of the late Janice A. (Reilly) Connolly who died on Dec.1st, 2015. Born in Boston, MA on Dec. 31, 1936, he was the son of the late Thomas F. and Helen B. (Robery) Connolly. He was a graduate of BC High School in 1954 and a 1961 graduate of Stonehill College. He also served in the US Army. In the early part of his career he was employed as a salesperson for several graphic arts companies. Upon leaving the graphic arts field, he started his own business, The Connolly Company, and became a manufacturer's representative in the golfing industry. Tom was a former member of several local golf courses - his favorite being Plymouth Country Club where he once won the club championship. In addition to golf, he enjoyed playing the piano, fishing, playing cards, and photography. He was the loving father of Marc and his wife Sherri Connolly of Arvada, CO and Michael and his wife Sharon Connolly of Plymouth. He was beloved brother of Kevin Connolly of Weymouth and the cherished grandfather of Sean and Jake of Arvada, CO and Matthew and Ryan of Plymouth, MA. The visiting hours will be held at the Davis Funeral & Cremation Home, 619 State Rd., PLYMOUTH (Manomet) on Wednesday, Dec. 30th from 2:00-3:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 3:30 p.m. Cremation will take place in Vine Hills Crematory followed by a private burial service.
