To Uncle Vincent--and his family:
One of my earliest memories was the very long car ride with my family taking Nana and Grandpa to Uncle Vincent's graduation at Cornell. I recall Grandpa being very grumpy after the ceremony because they mispronounced "Nuccio" when Uncle Vincent received his degree.
Another important memory was in conjunction with a 4th grade assignment "What do you want to be when you grow up?" when I sent Uncle Vincent a letter asking what it took to become a university professor. He most graciously sent back a letter that became my life's pathway--as I followed in his footsteps to BC, the BC Chorale, and becoming the "other Dr. Nuccio" after completing my PhD.
Of course, all of us cousins have the fond memories of hearing the "boys", as Nana called them, sing for us at family gatherings. Uncle Vincent kept everyone organized as he sang lead in many of the songs. Nana said that the only way she could keep the four boys from fighting was to teach them to sing! I know that she is just beaming with her boys reunited to sing for her.
To Susan, Carol, Nancy, and Valerie (and Mark)--thank you for sharing your Dad with us as he showed us the Jesuit values of intellectual inquiry, sincere care for individuals and community, search for the truth in all things, and using knowledge in the service of others, that he embodied throughout his life.
Our love to you--Gene & Linda.

To Dr. Nuccio´s family,
I have so many fond memories of your dad. He was a wonderful mentor. I was so privileged to work with your dad at BC. He gave me so many opportunities to build confidence and knowledge. My thoughts and prayers are with you. His legacy lives in every school system in Massachusetts.
God bless,
Laurie Longhurst Sullivan

MY SYMPATHY TO THE NUCCIO FAMILY. I KNEW HIM AS A NEIGHBOR, ENJOYED HIM AS A TEACHER AND ADMIRED HIM AS A FRIEND AND MENTOR. MAY HE REST IN PEACE.

He squeezed my hand tightly... And said, "Lisa be strong! You can get through this."
Fearless and loving, all rolled into one.
His greatest accomplishment in life was his family. I am blessed and honored to have had him as my father-in-law.
