June 20, 1983 - October 23, 2022
Ukiah, California - Christopher Elms, age 39, of Bradenton, Florida and Ukiah, California, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday October 23, 2022. He was born in Houston, Texas on June 20, 1983 and was raised in Bradenton, Florida. He is survived by his parents Janet Peebles-Elms and Robert Elms. Also, survived by his brother Tyler Elms, Steve Mason and uncles-Floyd Elms, Charlie Elms, Loyd Elms, Gary Peebles and Mark Peebles. There are also many aunts, cousins and wonderful friends that will miss him also. Chris is also survived by his partner and girlfriend Rose Serrano McChesney and her daughter McKinsey. Chris was a firefighter in northern California and loved the career. We will miss his smile, his strength and love for his family and friends. A celebration of life will be held on November 13th.

It is so difficult to lose a loved one. There are times that you may even forget the day or year. The only thing that may help is the passage of time. Grieve In your own way and time. Try not to let anyone tell you how to feel. Sometimes you may laugh or cry uncontrollably. It is all o.k. Try to remember the good times. Talk to the Lord.
