Romeo Dumais Obituary
Romeo (Pete) Dumais, age 90, passed away on May 16, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. Romeo was born on October 13,1932 in Frenchville, ME, son to the late Pea and Marie (Bouchard) Dumais. He was predeceased by his wife Amanda and his daughter Brenda. Romeo was an army veteran, drafted at the end of the Korean War. He then worked at Fafnir Bearings, retiring early. He spent his retirement enjoying his grandkids, selling different things at flea markets and taking trips to Vermont with his wife. He is survived by his son-in-law, James (Allen) Godin, his grandchildren, Jennifer Vitone and her husband Steven, Justin Godin and his wife Leny. As well as his great grandchildren, Anthony, Sofia and Asia. Romeo's family would like to thank the amazing staff at Jerome Home for taking great care of him during his short stay. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Monday, May 22, 2023, at the Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad Street in Plainville. A short prayer service will begin at 6:45 PM. Interment will take place privately at a later date. To leave a message of remembrance, please visit www.BaileyCares.com.
