John P. Bowman

May 20, 2005 at 92 years old, of Hamburg, NY; beloved husband of the late Sophia 'Chubby' 'Marge' (Soda) Bowman; brother of the late Francis (Melissa) and the late William (Josephine) Bowman; also survived by nieces and nephews. The family will be present to receive friends today from 3-7 PM at the Orchard Park Chapel of the JOSEPH K. QUINN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 6170 West Quaker St. (Rt. 20A) where Funeral Services will be held on Monday morning at 9:15 and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial from St. Bernadette's Church at 10 o'clock. Friends invited. Mr. Bowman was the oldest living member of the Operating Engineers Local #17, a retired employee of Holmes & Murphy Inc. of Orchard Park and a veteran of WWII. Interment in Hillcrest Cemetery.
