Age 58, of North Tonawanda, died on Wednesday, surrounded by family under the care of Hospice House. Kathleen was born in North Tonawanda to Kenneth J. and Gracine (Capizzi) Kirisits. Kathleen was a Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts Troop Leader, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, gardening, camping, spending time with her family and her fur babies. Kathleen was predeceased by her husband Frederick "Fred" E. Zacher and daughter Emily Zacher. Kathleen is survived by her children Sara (Edward Armold) Zacher, and Luke Zacher, grandmother of Evelyn Zacher, sister of Pete (Buffy) Kirisits, sister in law of Connie (Bob) Lutz, and Yvonne Zacher, also surviving are many nieces and nephews Friends may call Monday from 4-8 P.M. at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Elmlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, https://www.roswellpark.org/.wattengel.com
