Edward J. Phelan, Jr.
Lumberton - Edward J. Phelan, Jr. of Lumberton passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 70.
Born in Philadelphia, Ed grew up in Lumberton, was a graduate of Rancocas Valley Reg. High School and served in the US Army from 1968-1971. Ed worked in construction and was an excellent carpenter. He could build anything. Most recently he worked for Wills Bus Service. Ed loved music and was an excellent percussionist. He attended Bible college and was an active member of World Harvest Christian Center and travelled and served on many mission trips.
Ed is survived by his wife Nenita C. Phelan of Lumberton; 3 children: Edward (Johanna Vidal-Phelan), Michael, & Anastasia (Jim) Reed; 2 step-children: Charmaine (Gino) & Henry Louis (Jin-Jin); 6 grandchildren: Quinn, Avory, Eduardo, Mateo, Mavis & Chase. He is also survived by his siblings: Theresa Tyson, Robert, Deborah Powell, John, Christopher, & Richard; and many nieces & nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews.
The Memorial Service will be held at World Harvest Christian Center, 7201 Westfield Ave #4009, Pennsauken Township, NJ 08110 on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 2 pm. lieu of flowers they can give their donations to the World Harvest Christian Center https://www.whcc.org/giving or Shekinah Glory International Ministries, 4716 Tyson Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19135 Arrangements by the Perinchief Chapels, Mount Holly.
