Freda and family, We're so sorry to read about Don's passing. He was a great teacher to our children. He also did an excellent job painting our house. He enjoyed that summer job. He was easy to visit with. Our sympathy.

Don was a great, and yet gentle man! He was a school teacher for our kids, and a house painter during the summer months that painted our home. His family and friends will miss him greatly! Don, congratulations on the graduation! Welcome to Heaven!

I worked with Don at the middle school for several years then served with him in the Gideons. Truly a great man I respected and admired. He will be missed greatly. May God comfort the family during this hard time.

Freda, I am so sorry for your loss of Don. He always had such a sweet spirit about him, with a gentle smile.
He began as my teacher and later he always reached out to keep track of my life. A servants heart is what I always saw in Don.

Mr. Briggs was one of my teachers and a coach´s , and later in life a friend.
I´ve not spoken to him in a while, but always enjoyed his gentle spirit.

This was a great man
Him and his sweet wife Freda taught all of our children in Sunday school. Don was such a wonderful guy and helped me with many projects. We had many deep discussions about the Lord and how he was just waiting on us to be with him forever, Don and I had just finished painting our house and just a few weeks later he got very ill. I prayed very hard for the Lord to leave him here longer, but we always told each other we will see each other again with Jesus for ETERNITY.
I got to visit with him just a day before he passed and told him I loved him and I held his hand and he barely opened his eyes and shook his head yes and squeezed my hand
I was so glad he was awake, just as I was getting ready to go and tell Freda bye
What a gift that was to me I will never forget him, and always pray. Pray for his family.
