Bessie Lesnett Obituary

Bessie M. Lesnett
Bessie M. Lesnett, 76, of the Avalon Nursing Center, formerly of Harlansburg Road, died at 12:33 p.m. Thursday at the Jameson Memorial Hospital-North.
Born Jan. 19, 1929, she was the daughter of Joseph Jones and Mable Miller Jones.
She had been a clerk at the former Hite's Dairy in New Castle.
Mrs. Lesnett is survived by her husband, Roy C. Lesnett Sr.; two daughters, Linda Musser and Betty Ann McDanel, both of New Castle; three step-daughters, Sandy Savannah of New Castle, Doris Heller of Portersville and Sue McMurdy of Prospect; three step-sons, Harry and Roy C. Lesnett, both of New Castle, and Arthur Lesnett of Waynesburg; a brother, George R. Jones of New Castle; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leon "Shorty" Williams; two sisters, Gladys Lesnett and Grace Lechner, and a brother, Grant Jones.
LESNETT - Friends of Bessie M. Lesnett, who died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the TURNER-MYERS FUNERAL HOME 208 N. Jefferson St., New Castle. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Charles of the Portersville Bible Church officiating. Burial will be in the Castle View Gardens.

My Deeepest Sympathy goes to Roy and the Lesnett Family The loss of there loved one, My thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone of the Lesnett Family,Bessie was a very good fun loving person,I always had lots of laughs when I was around her..I will miss her dearly.
