Gary Marburger Obituary

Gary Omar Marburger, of Butler, passed away Monday, Feb. 15, 2021, after a lengthy illness.

Gary was born on Jan. 24, 1957, and was the son of the late Omar and Helen Marburger.

He graduated from Seneca Valley High School in 1976 and began a life of taking care of any and all animals. He loved the scaly and slimy ones as much as the soft and cute ones.

He is survived by sisters, Regina Cole of Salem, Ohio and Roxanne (James) Edwards of Valencia; niece, Alilly (Vince) Greco of Neshannock; nephews, Dallas (Jodi) Cole of Ohio and Parker Edwards of Valencia; his best friend, Joan Noel, and other family members and friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

Marburger - A service for Gary Omar Marburger, who died Monday, Feb. 15, 2021, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021, at the Butler County Association for the Blind, 322 North Cedar St., Butler.

Arrangements are under the direction of Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St, Butler.

I am very sad to hear of Gary's passing. I cleaned for Gary for 4 years . He was truly a wonderful person and such a loyal friend . I am so fortunate to know him and will keep him in my heart forever.

I am so sorry to hear of Gary's passing . I cleaned for Gary and I wouldn't trade those 4 years for anything. In Gary,I found a wonderful person who was truly himself and a wonderful friend . He will be greatly missed by me . And always be thought of fondly.
