Paul Fedokovitz
Paul Fedokovitz, 82, of Sunnyview Nursing Home, formerly of Highfield, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Jan. 10, 1922, in Butler, he was a son of Wasyl Fedokovitz and Mary Kucheck Wasdovsky.
A 1941 graduate of Butler High School, he had worked in the coil warehouse at Armco-Butler Works and retired in 1983 after 42 years.
He was a member and past president of the Highfield Community Center and was a bingo caller for the center, Lyndora Fire Hall and Armco Park. He enjoyed bowling and golfing and had organized trips to Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
Mr. Fedokovitz was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora, where he also was an usher.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member and past commander of the American Legion Michael Kosar Post 778 in Lyndora.
Surviving are his wife, Anne Prokop Fedokovitz, whom he married Aug. 27, 1944; two sons, Roger P. Fedokovitz and his wife, Nancy, of Butler and Douglas M. Fedokovitz of Jersey City, N.J.; two daughters, Paula Worsley and her husband, Albert E. III, of Meridian and Cindy Walker and her husband, Jim, of Butler; and a son-in-law, Ronald Hume of Meridian. Ten grandchildren, Lisa Foringer, R.J. Hume, Jim and Bryan Worsley, Tracy Rose, Terry and Eric Fedokovitz, Corey, Lindsay and Makenzie Walker; and five great-grandchildren, Ryan and Justin Foringer, Regan Worsley, Alyssa Rose and Steven Fedokovitz, also survive.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Hume; three brothers, Nicholas and John Fedokovitz and Wally Feder; and a sister, Ann Olenic.
FEDOKOVITZ - Friends of Paul Fedokovitz, who died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church with the Rev. Dennis Bogda officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park, Butler Township. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 105 Kohler Avenue, Lyndora, PA 16045. Parastas services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Grandpa, I loved you very much and I still always will. I will never forget the good times you and me had together. I hope God takes good care of you and I hope your life is just as good in heaven as it was down here on earth. Grandma misses you very much and so does everyone else.
