Steve was an exceptional athlete. He excelled at golf, softball and volleyball throughout his life. He also enjoyed competitive archery and pistol shooting and shooting for fun with his family.
He was a self-employed taxidermist, receiving many awards for his taxidermy. He also was employed at Interstate Pipe and Supply, Clintonville, and, after 30 years of service, retired in 2007 due to disability from leukemia.
He was a member of the Church of Beloved Disciple, Grove City. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Taxidermy Association, Ducks Unlimited and the NRA.
He was married to Sally L. (Deniker) McFeely on Aug. 1, 1981, and she survives at the home. He enjoyed doing everything with Sally, who was his wife and best friend for 30 years.
