Anna B. Nix

Anna B. Nix Rockport , TXAnna Burns Nix, age 79, a resident of Rockport, Texas and a former longtime resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013 in Rockport. She was as an interior designer. Mrs. Nix was preceded in death by her parents; son, Phillip Austin Nix; brother, Cecil Burns; and great-grandson, Chandler Nix. Mrs. Nix is survived by her former husband, Floyd Nix of Corpus Christi, Texas; three children, Cecelia Shannon (Bill) of Fulton, Texas, Sarah Wardinsky (Jack) of Belgrade, Montana, and Katy Hada (Jim) of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Frances Arnold of Canton, Texas and Billie Morgan of Longview, Texas; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Ferris, Rachael Albrecht, Samuel Nix, Lisa Nix, Anna Hada, Cecelia Hada and Jack Hada; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Chamberlain Cemetery in Kingsville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Rockport, Texas or Texas Institute of Research and Rehabilitation, Houston, Texas. Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
