Guadalupe L.CastilloTXGuadalupe L. Castillo, 86, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on September 19, 2018. She was born on August 20, 1932 in Calallen, Texas to Donato and San Juana Luera Lopez. She was a homemaker, a faithful Catholic, a member of St. Mary's Mission, and of the Guadalupanas organization. She also worked at Calallen ISD until her retirement. She loved spending time in her garden, watching her novelas, doing her crossword and word search puzzles, and spending time going for breakfast with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed.

She goes home to the Lord to reunite with her parents; her husband, Julian Castillo, Jr.; her son, Julian Castillo, III; and her daughter, Maria Elena De Los Santos who preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her children, Magdalena Davis, Clara Garcia, Alejandro Castillo, Joe Castillo, Emily (Carlos) Castillo, Margo Narvaez, Albert Salas, Dion Castillo, and Julian Castillo, IV; her brother, Alberto Lopez. She was also blessed with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends; and her beloved pets her dog Koa and her cat Pepper.

A rosary will be recited at 7pm on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas. The Funeral Mass will be recited at 10am on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at St. Peter Prince of the Apostle Catholic Church in Corpus Christi, Texas. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas.
