Iris Danysh Obituary

Iris Mary Danysh, 77, passed away August 31, 2008. She was born May 28, 1931 in New Braunfels, Texas to Otto T. Willms and Lillie O. Waldschmidt Willms. In early years Iris worked for Southwestern Bell and Skelley Oil Company. She was a talented artist who loved to paint and draw. She also had a love for nature and birds. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clarence Thomas Danysh, and her brother, Carol Gene Willms. Iris leaves behind to cherish her memories, two nieces, Deborah (Julius) Zdansky of Corpus Christi, Texas and Brenda (Robert) Barnes of Buckner, Kentucky, one nephew, Robert (Robin) Willms of Katy, Texas and numerous other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Thursday, September 4, 2008 with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. that same evening at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors. The family will be present from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. to greet friends. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 5, 2008 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will be held at 3:30 P.M., Friday at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in New Braunfels, Texas.
