George Hardy

George L. "Pat" Hardy, 79, born September 23, 1935, passed away at his home January 10, 2015 with his family at his side. A Denver, Colorado native, George moved to Texas Creek in 1996 after his retirement from Texaco Oil Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, George A. and Carmella (Bombino) Hardy. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Fay (Adams) Hardy and family; daughter, Vicky Hardy and family of Aurora, CO; son, William A. Hardy and family of Delta, CO; sister, Gloria (Hardy) Zimmerman and family of Thornton, CO; extended family, Ki and Scott Vitale and family of Hewitt, NJ; and numerous step-children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Special Thanks to Kathy and Frank Vigil and Henry Thomas. George will be missed by everyone that ever came into his life and those who only knew him through conversation. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Holt Family Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Holt Chapel of the Garden in Canon City, CO, with interment following at Mountain Vale Memorial Park in Canon City.
