Jeanne Kuretich

1925 - 2016

Jeanne L. Kuretich, 90, passed away January 27, 2016. She was born June 16, 1925, in Trinidad, Colorado, to Carl and Lillian (Russell) Heise. A long time resident of Canon City, Jeanne was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church for 59 years. She was very involved in the Catholic Church and was exceptionally devoted to her faith. On October 23, 1949, Jeanne was united in marriage to Theodore "Ted" Kuretich and they were blessed with five children. She is survived by her children, Steve (Letricia) Kuretich, Judy Hamilton, Randy (Rose) Kuretich; grandchildren, Brandon and Kristen Hamilton, Cassandra and Josh Upton, Kestra (James) Bronneke, Bradley Kuretich, Tyler Kuretich, Preston (Brandy) Kuretich, Mike (Tricia) Milam; great-grandchildren, Isabel, Ian, Wesley, Lily, Jack, Alex, Seth, Parker, Chase; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ted and sons, Richard "Ric" and Larry Kuretich. Recitation of the Rosary, 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2016, St. Michael Catholic Church, Reverend Tony Wojeinski officiating. Interment to follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Canon City. Arrangements are under the care of Holt Family Funeral Home.
