Amil Greku Obituary
Amil R. Greku, age 85 of Canton, passed away early Sunday
"Together Again"
morning after an extended illness. A life resident of Canton, he was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and St. John Guild. An Army veteran of WW II, he was a retired machinist having worked for Weber Dental and White Engines. Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Ludavica (Bica) Greku, wife Connie (Cassille) Greku, brothers John, Eugene and George Greku, sisters Mary DiGiacomo and Virginia Correlli. He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law Bud and Barb Greku of Massillon, Mark Greku o f Canton, daughter and son-in-law Pam and Tom Schott of Canton, grandchildren Keith Greku, Tracy Cochran, Ryan Schott and fiancée' Jodi Gates, Sean Schott, Jenna and Megan Greku, sister Jenny Sundheimer, sister-in-law Josephine Greku, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Albert and Frances Simia all of Canton. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Rossi Funeral Home. St. John Guild will hold services at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be sung on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Ronald Klingler as celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mr. Greku's name can be made to St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
