Clarence Torrence
Clarence "Sonny-Doby" Torrence, age 73, passed away in Tennessee. He was born December 17, 1933, to Charles and Annie Mae Torrence. He attended McKinley High School and later was in the United States Air Force. He worked at Stark Ceramics and the Hoover Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Annie Mae Torrence; step mother, Blanche Torrence; brothers, Harry, Daniel, William and Raymond. He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Michael, Larry (Jennifer), Keith and Kevin Torrence; daughter, Natalie King; brothers, Charles Torrence, Jr. of Canton and J.W. Manns of Arizona; sisters, Lucille Walker and Joyce Culver both of Canton; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Rhoden Memorial Home, 729 Cherry Avenue, NE, Canton, OH 44702 with Rev. Rickey Lawson eulogizing. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
