George Doskow Obituary
George Doskow, 82, of Annapolis died on March 10, 2018 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he attended Columbia University for his B.A. and the University of Connecticut for his M.A. and PH. D. in English. After teaching at Trinity College, Hartford for two years, he came to St. John'sCollege in Annapolis where he taught for 35 years from 1965 to 2000 when he retired. He taught the entire curriculum. After his retirement, he taught at Nankei University in Tianjin, China for a semester. He loved travel, music, reading and learning throughout his life as well as spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife Minna, his daughter, Jessica and 3 grandchildren Sarah, Kai and Linna. There will be a memorial service at St. John's College in the Great Hall on April 21, 2018 at 2:00 P.M.. Please omit flowers. Memorials in his name to Hospice of the Chesapeake will be appreciated.
