Dear Lon and Family:
I just learned of Nancy's passing. I am devastated to hear this. Nancy and I worked together in Prince George's and Charles County Maryland on many projects and we were a great team. She led so many difficult projects through to success and we had a wonderful time doing it.
After her retirement we frequent had catch up lunches, shared memories and always enjoyed life. The pandemic interrupted our lunches and I am so shocked to have lost her.
Nancy was a great attorney, good friend, and a partner in many projects. It was always a treat to see her handle a courtroom or a planning commission.
My heart goes out to Lon and her family; I am so happy she will be home on the farm.
With Great Sympathy,
Jim Whitehead

Sincere condolences to the Slepicka family, especially Ashley and Mallory who studied piano with me when they were growing up. Nancy offered great support to both her daughters as well as to me--always positive encouragement to us as we developed piano skills along with a lovely friendship during those years.

Lon & Family,
I am heartbroken to learn of Nancy´s passing. We met decades ago as young attorneys. Nancy was one of the early women land-use attorneys in Prince George´s County, and what a great one she was - sage, always prepared & presented extraordinarily well. It was a delight to hear her cases before the Prince George´s Planning Board. Above all, Nancy was a delightful human being! She had a lovely personality, and I always marveled at her grace.
Lon, my deepest condolences to you and your family, and to her OMNG family, too. May God wrap His ever-protective arms around each of you during this very tough time...

Nancy was one of the many of us to grow up in north Geneva, spending summer days on bicycles, at the swimming pool, in band practice, playing kick the can until dark. As we eventually grew up, she was a beacon for each of us for what we could achieve. Her marriage to Lon was a precious ideal. What a loss for the world and for each of us honored to have known her.
