My heartfelt condolences to the family of the best teacher I ever had. I was in Mrs. Bullen's third grade class (with Nancy who also has written on this site) at NAPS in 1986. Her love for each of us paired with her demand for doing your best have stayed with me to this day. One of my favorite memories was her multiplication table contest she held during the year. Once you passed her oral quiz for each number, you got a "surprise" No toy, no candy, simply a small kiss on the cheek and a "well done." Even as a third grader, I realized this was a better reward than any trinket she could have given. Rest in peace Mrs. Bullen, and thank you for the imprint you left on my life.

Ruth was such a delight to know. She was intelligent, funny & one of the strongest (physically & mentally) people I have known. I am grateful I had her in my life in the 11 years I was at Trinity. May God bless her good family. Sheila Dunn

The world was a better place because of all the joy, humor and humanity Ruth brought to it everyday. She was a amazing teacher and advocate for children. A sharp mind and a loving heart. Our family was so grateful that Ruth was put in our path.
Our deepest condolences to you.

Will miss Mrs. B. especially as she waited for her ride home from church. That amazing smile lit the foyer and was such a gift to everyone who passed her. Such a warm, beautiful lady.
Love and prayers for your family.
