James Edward "Jim" Hulse

James "Jim" Edward Hulse, 48, of Westminster, formerly of Ellicott City, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the Dove House in Westminster. Jim was born on September 7, 1969 in Baltimore to the late Howard Eugene and Gertrude Ann (McNaney) Hulse. He was the beloved husband of Myhanh (Tonnu) Hulse whom he married in 1996 and who survives him. Jim graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemical Engineering. He was an engineer with Bioprocess and then with Paragon Bioservices. In addition to his wife, Jim leaves his four children, Mark E. Hulse, Benjamin E. Hulse, Justin E. Hulse and Jessica A. Hulse, all of Westminster. He is also survived by his parents-in-law, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. In addition to spending time with his family, Jim enjoyed his work, landscaping, home projects, football, Rush music and coaching children's sports. Jim's family will welcome visitors on Friday, February 23 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel Please use Chapel entrance. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday February 24 at 9:15 A.M. at St. John Catholic Church in Westminster. Interment will follow at the New Cathedral Cemetery, 4300 Old Frederick Road in Baltimore. Jim's family has established a GoFundMe page to assist with the education of his children.
