Eddie and Betty, I remember JoAnn as a sweet, mature pretty girl who I knew would make you proud. I am so very sorry for your loss. We were neighbors on Hook Road for many years and our daughters, Jennifer Hoff and your Sharon, were friends, as were we. I am praying for you and your family.

I write in remembrance to my very best childhood friend. I carry many fond memories of our escapades while growing up. After high school we lost touch but would run into each other every now and then. When we would see each other at our kids sports events it was like all the lost time never happened as we would talk like old times. It saddens me greatly to lose such a great friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.

I knew JoAnn by way of working in the suite next to her for Johns Hopkins in Fells Point. We would always stop to talk to each other about her family especially her son and daughter and she would always inquire about my ten yr old son who she's met several times. I remember how sad she was that both her kids were leaving home for college but relieved that they were going to be together while away. I was saddened to just learn the news of her passing just today. My heart is so very heavy for she was a very sweet and kind woman. I always enjoyed talking with her each time we encountered one another. I send my condolences to her husband and kids who she loves and it showed each time she spoke about them. I'll forever miss you Joann and our chats. Rest In Peace.

With Love,
LaKia

Chuck, Alex, Allison and family,

I know that little can be said to assuage your loss but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and yours. Joann was a special person and was far too young to have been taken away from her family and friends. It is my hope and prayer that in time your sense of loss will lessen and that the wonderful memories will serve to keep her alive in your hearts minds.

We were saddened to hear of JoAnn's passing and can only pass along our truest sympathies to Chuck and the kids. Our times together with Chuck and JoAnn for dinners and social engagements will never be forgotten.

Amy will miss one of her closest friends, dance partner and traveling companion for ballet performances. Losing such an effervescent personality and laughter so full of happiness and love will be the hole in our hearts we all will carry for the rest of our lives. A candle may sit with a pair of ballet slippers to remember JoAnn, but she is dancing her way to heaven like she did here on earth.
