Shelley Duvall Obituary



Shelley J. Adcock Duvall, 43, of Hancock, died Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

Born Dec. 31, 1970, in Westminster, she was the daughter of Truman Dennis and Margaret A. Coop Adcock, of Woodbine. She was the wife of Stephen Duvall.

She was a 1988 graduate of South Carroll High School. She was a housekeeper for Best Western in Berkeley Springs, and formerly worked at Copper Ridge.

Surviving, in addition to her parents and husband, are siblings Michael D. Adcock and wife Annette, of Littlestown, Pa., and Suzanne J. Hollinger and husband David, of Westminster; sister-in-law and family, Kaye Shifflett; a friend, Brenda Grimes; many aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces; and two grandmothers.

Friends may call from noon until the time of service, 1 p.m. Saturday at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, with the Rev. Arthur Monroe officiating. Interment will be private.
