Elaine Williams Obituary
Elaine "Ellie" Margaret Williams, born September 13th, 1947, in Manchester, England suddenly
passed on August 20th, 2023, at the age of 75.
She was married to the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Williams in 1974. Together, they made the
decision to pursue a better life for their family and emigrated from England to America in 1980.
The two of them built an amazing life together for over 40+ years.
Ellie loved to spend time with her flowers. As a florist in her earlier years, she had an
exceptional green thumb. Ellie was a wonderful mother to her three children, Helen, Steven, Andrew and inherited son Travis Knoblich. She will be missed by so many, which is a sign of how many lives she touched.
Ellie had seven grandchildren known to them as Grandma and Mamaw as well as six great-
grandchildren to whom she was known as GG Ellie.
Ellie was preceded in death by her son, Steven Williams; sisters, Irene Kirkwood and Leslie
O'Rourke; and parents, Walter and Minnie Smith.
She leaves behind her husband, Robert "Bob" Williams; daughter, Helen Williams; sons, Andrew
(Jessica) Williams and Travis (Sarah) Knoblich; sisters, Janis (David) Fenton; brother, Alan Smith;
sister-in-law, Kath Barlow; and niece Samantha Anderson.
Her grandsons, Devon (Stephanie) Brown, Gareth (Carli) Williams, Jordan Williams, Colin
Williams and Tommy Williams.
Her granddaughters, Mackenzie McIntire; and Leslie Williams.
Her great-grandchildren, Aubriella, Laura, Olivia, Lily Jean, Niah and Beckham.
Ellie had an enormous extended family in both the States and England. Numerous nieces and
nephews along with great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held September 16th, 2023, at 2755 Nettleton Gulch Rd., Coeur D'
Alene, Idaho from 1pm-5pm. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, and to honor Ellie,
