Phillip Walton Obituary
Phillip Reed Walton passed away on May 25, 2023. He was born June 20, 1963 to James (Jim) and Alohae (Borley) Walton. Phil loved life and enjoyed making new friends. He was outgoing and could have a conversation with anyone he met. He enjoyed the Idaho outdoors, especially hunting with his Dad every year, up until he fell out of a tree stand and broke his back in 4 places. He also enjoyed going on the family trip to Fish Lake every August 1st, the annual Dorothy Borley Memorial (grandmother) float trip on the CDA river, and fishing with his parents in Echo Bay. He loved spending time with his cousin, Kevin Diemert. He had a love for animals, especially his dear dog Sammy. Phil is survived by his mother Alohae; sons Ryan Walton Lanterman and Donald Nelson-Cloud (Brittani); a grandchild, and brother Jamie Walton. Phillip will be greatly missed by all who knew him and will remain in our hearts forever.
Preceding him in death are his father, Jim Walton, infant sister Deborah Walton, grandparents Reed and Helen Walton, Dorothy and Walt (Tiny) Borley, and cousin Kevin Diemert.
A memorial service will be held for Phillip and Jim Walton on Saturday, August 19th at 1:30 p.m. at Real Life Ministries – North campus, located at 30447 N. Roughstock Rd, Athol, ID. There will be a potluck immediately following the service, so please bring your favorite dish.
