Dr. Toyama was our family eye doctor and performed surgery on my sister for a "lazy eye" when she was just 3 years old. It was a scary time for our family, but we trusted him entirely. He was a good man and our thoughts are with his family at this time. Sincerely, the Mundlin family

You and Kate are always in my heart. My prayers and thoughts are with you. Dr. T, you taught me how to refract the right way and I am forever thankful for that and everything else I learned from you. I remember the Chuckwagon breakfasts and working for and with the best people at the clinic you founded. You are so missed in my life. You gave me encouragement to go on when I was struggling as a single mom. Thank you. Hugs Kate.

Roy was a fine person and eye physician. His establishment of the North Eye Institute has been a positive for Kootenai County. A referral to his clinic was a safe harbor for referring physicians. Richard B Caldwell MD

My condolences and prayers to Dr. Toyama´s family. The Toyama family were my neighbors when they moved to Coeur d´Alene. I have many fond memories of spending time with the family and time spent up the N Fork CdA River.
