Beverly Snody Obituary

Beverly Dahl Snody
Mrs. Snody age 85 of Charlotte, NC widow of Mr. Albert Raymond Snody passed away Friday, October 2, 2008 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. She was born January 28, 1923 in Spooner, WI to the late William and Lena Bishop Dahl. She was a veteran of the US Army having served during World War II. Mrs. Snody was retired from Celotex Corporation. She was a member of the Matthews United Methodist Church.
Her family members are: Joy and Jack Davis, Matthews, Sheila Haynes, Charlotte, Shannon and Stan Gerrald, Shreveport, LA; grandchildren are Eric and Keri Sorensen, Matthews, Jason Davis and Alynne DeHart, Charlotte, Brian Haynes, Gulf Breeze, FL, Chris and Suzi Haynes, Hugo, MN, and Samantha DeJesus, Castro Valley, CA She also has six great-grandchildren, Kaela and Kyle Sorensen, Shelby, Cooper, Peyton, and Powell Haynes, and a brother, Douglas Dahl, Great Falls, MT. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Snody was preceded in death by three sisters, Evelyn Anderson, Katherine Bowers and Gertrude Koerpel and a brother, Harry Dahl.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Indian Grove Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:30 PM Saturday at Moody Funeral Home of Mt. Airy until time for Mrs. Snody to be taken to the cemetery for the graveside service.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to charity of your choice.
