Bob Ruppenthal was a valued Haverford College classmate and a good friend. Quiet and a little shy, Bob made a name for himself by playing the organ in Roberts Hall before the Wednesday college Collection programs. On Sundays he was usually at a nearby church as organist. He and I did not keep intouch throughout our active years, only seeing each other it class reunions. Such a gentle and compassionate fellow, it is not surprising that he was a blessing to his community. When I spoke to him last in early 2016, he and Carolyn were readying their house for sale and the move to the retirement center. I am so sorry to learn of his untimely death. My wife Marga and I send deepest condolences to Carolyn and the rest of the family. Sic transit gloria mundi.

Bob was a Mentor to many of us men in BibleWorkBench for many years. His sense of humor and Spirit filled guidance will be greatly missed. Thoughts and prayers go to Bob's family in this time of sorrow. I was Blessed to know Bob as a Friend and Mentor.
