March 8, 1927 - April 6, 2024
Charlotte, North Carolina - Elizabeth Daly Kennedy " Bess" died peacefully in her residence at the age of 97 on April 6, 2024. Mrs. Kennedy is survived by two sons, Bobby Kennedy (Dina) and Larry Kennedy (Beth), four daughters, Susanne Kennedy, Catherine Perry (Rex), Faye Lilieholm (Bill), Joan Jeans (Herb), 10 grandchildren, Jennifer Cecile, Eric Goodson, Andrew Perry, Chris and Kelly Lambert, Eric and Sean Kennedy, Jake Lilieholm, Renee Leganzon, and seven great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas James Kennedy. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday April 12, 2024 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Fr. Raymond Ekosse officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM - 2:30 PmM, with a Mass to follow. Inurnment in the church columbarium will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to VIA Health Partners (formerly hospice), 7845 Little Avenue., Charlotte, NC 28226.
