Ethel Stoudemire Obituary

Ethel Stoudemire "Lee" CHARLOTTE - Ethel "Lee" Stoudemire passed away December 15, 2013. She was born on June 30, 1946, to the union of the late Percy Smith and Lucille Tyler Smith in Birmingham, Alabama. Lee worked in the financial industry for the majority of her professional career. She was a leader among her peers and retired from SunTrust Bank in 2011. She was a faithful and active member of Thrift Baptist Church where her extended family grew. Lee was a devoted child of God, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She leaves to cherish many loving memories two sons, William J. "Scooter" Clipper (Ylondon) and Ron "Tony" Howard; eleven brothers and sisters (two preceded), nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild (one preceded), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. The family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday December 22, 2013, at Rosadale Funeral Parlor, 3641 Central Ave., Charlotte, NC 28205. The Homegoing Services will be held at noon on Monday, December 23, 2013, at Thrift Baptist Church, 8415 Moores Chapel Rd., Charlotte, NC 28214, Pastor Gene Lathan officiating.
