Jean H. Alexander

RICHMOND, VA -- Jean H. Alexander, 63, of Sandston, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 21, 2002. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Richard "Chick" Alexander; her four children, son Steve and his wife, Liz, of Chesterfield, daughter Joanne Bartels and her husband, Bill, of Varina, son Ricky and his wife, Dana, of Mooresville, NC and son Michael of Sandston; five grandchildren, Katy, Bryan, Ryan, Jordan and Nathan. Mrs. Alexander was recently retired from Henrico County. Her remains rest at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 South Laburnum Ave., where the family will receive friends from 6-9 PM tonight and where funeral services will be conducted Noon Thursday. Interment in Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Henrico Volunteer Rescue Squad, PO Box 911, Sandston, VA 23150.
