Mrs. McLaughlin, Bobby, Matt and Families,

I was so very sorry to learn of John's death. My brother called me from North Carolina to tell me and I just wanted you to know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. John and I went to school together from Park View Elementary to graduation in 1961 at Mooresville Senior High School. Even though we had not seen each other in a very long time, I know he was a fine husband, father and grandfather because I have kept in touch with some of our classmates. He will be missed by many!

My condolences to the McLaughlin family. I just read the obituary for Mr. McLaughlin, I must say that I am truly sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that God will give support to all those who are falling, and is raising up all who are bowed down. (Psalms 145:14)My prayer is that he will strengthen you and help you to go on.

It was always nice to see John at work at Cochrane because he was always going to brag on Bobby and Matt. It was great to play softball at Boger City with the three of them. God Bless You
