Bill & family:
It is with my deepest sympathy that I express my love and gratitude to all of you. I know how much you will miss Lois because I miss her terribly already. Her emails up until her passing brought me so much joy. Never has any one person made the impact on my life that Lois did. She was a wonderful Sunday School Teacher all those years ago at Commonwealth Baptist Church. I will never forget those trips to the Eubanks cabin in the mountains with her and also those wonderful Christmas parties that we shared when you lived at Hackberry in Pineville. GOD took home an Angel who was loved so much by so many. I will never forget her!!

Bumpus Family,

We are saddened to read about the passing of your mother when we got home tonight. She was a special lady and raised a fine Christian family. Although it had been too long since we'd seen her, she will always be remembered with that beautiful smile she had. She lives on through your smiles. I know she must have been as proud of you as you all are of her. Her life made a big difference in the lives of every one she touched, including ours.
Love, Jim and Ann Wright

Bill and family,

Words can not express how much I loved and cared for Lois. Bill, you and Lois, were the first couple to reach out to Ron and I when we first started attending the Wooten Sunday School class at Carmel Baptist. Lois and I shared many wonderful times together over the past six years and I will cherish them forever. Her love for the Lord was visible on her face and came from her heart. I will miss her greatly, but am comforted by the fact that I know that she is with our Lord now and free from any pain and suffering. May God Bless you, Bill, and may He continue to hold you in His arms until you are again reunited with Lois in Heaven.

When my husband and I move to Charlotte back in 1991, Lois was the first neighbor to knock on our door and welcome us to the neighborhood.
I have such wonderful memories of Lois and I truly admired the woman she was. She touched so many people with her warmth, kindness and love of Christ, that's how we will always remember her. I pray for strength and guidance for Bill and the family. May God bless you all and keep you in his love always.

Bill and family,

My thoughts, prayers, and love are with you. Lois was a GREAT inspiration to so many people. I have so many fond memories of our friendship through the years. I know the heavens have been blessed with another angel coming to her eternal home. We on earth miss our loved ones so very much..it is a comfort to know they no longer are suffering in body, but are running around in a new body. I feel so privileged to have the Bumpus among my list of friends. God Bless Each of You.

Bill,

I am very sorry to hear the news about Lois. It was a great shock to both Sue and I. Lois lived her life as a woman of the Word and knew of God's love for her. She is in His presence and at peace and we should now celebrate her life. I look forward to seeing her in paradise someday.

You and your family are in my prayers.
