I wrote so much that my first entry disappeared. Words are really insufficient at such a time as this. May The Lord bring you comfort during your grief. Each of you are promised in James 4 that if you will draw close to Him that He will draw close to you, providing the comfort you need. Terry was such a congenial and big-hearted person. I will miss him. I am praying for each of you, and I love each of you.

Dear Nina, David and Hughes Family;
I feel for you at this time of loss and send my deepest condolences. After reading all the wonderful remembrances of Terry, I am sorry that I didn't get to know him better myself. Life just takes us in different paths. Terry must have been a genuine and caring soul. I have vague memories of the times he came to church with his parents. Of course, I saw Nina and Leona much more than Terry or Jack. But, I do remember them. I am glad that I knew some of the family and especially my many years in church with Leona. I also, remember Terry's maternal grandmother, Margie, a kind and benevolent soul. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with the family, as we celebrate the life of Terry. Terry and his stories he could tell, he knew Westside Charlotte like no other. He was a kind, gentle, laid back easy going person. If you needed help and he could, he would. May his family and friends cherish all the memories, and know that through the graces of God we all will rise again one day. What a fine celebration it will be. Praises to our Almighty Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. RIP Terry.
