Anne Burke

Anne Burke (nee Conway), age 92, died November 7, 2023. Born in Tourmakeady, County Mayo, Ireland; beloved daughter of James and Julia Conway; devoted and loving mother of Sheila Burke, Mary (Ed) Regester, Catherine (Michael) Tanner, Michael (Laura) Burke, Patrick Burke, Barbara (Louis) Roppo, Judy (John) Mortell and John (Maria) Burke; proud grandmother of William (Christina), Sarah, Kaley (Jason) Weichert, Jonathan (Laura), Kerianne, Andrew (Salena), Joseph (Mallory), Stephanie (Marco) Cupello, Bethany, Hannah, Kaitlin, Rebecca and great- grandmother of Joseph, Patrick Aiden, Wesley and Emory. Dearest sister of Mary Staunton and Michael Conway and the late Peter Conway, John Conway, Tim Conway, Judy Folan and Nora Foley. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Anne had been married to Joseph Burke, who preceded her in death in July, 2013. Anne was a dear friend to many and was an inspiration to her family. A Memorial will be held to honor Anne's life on January 7, 2024, from 1:00 to 6:00 PM at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst, IL 60126. There will be a livestream video broadcast from 5 – 6pm (Central time) for those who may not be able to attend in person.
