We got to know Anne through her husband and my colleague Bob in the late 80’s. Loved talking to her about old movies, France and family. Will miss her beautiful Christmas card calligraphy and her wonderful personality. I envy her family who she loved dearly. May her memory live on at Christmas and forever,

My condolences to Anne's Family. I was a former neighbor when Anne and Bob lived on Thatcher in River Forest. Anne and I stayed in touch all these years. I will remember her as a fun person and intelligent and kind and a cat lover. I remember she had 5 cats when I was her neighbor! I got to cat sit from time to time. I recall going for walks for exercise and how she loved to stop MANY TIMES and look at the houses and gardens in the neighborhood. I will miss this wonderful lady.

Mrs. Canapary was such a lovely person in my life. She was creative, intellectual, tender and accepting of so many of us kids in the neighborhood. I loved her French, her encouragement of our drawing and painting, her many cats and her pretty home. She was very inspiring for me.
