Beloved husband of the late Kathryn "Joan" nee Connell; loving father of Patricia (Dr. Loren) White, Barbara (Thomas) Barrett, Susan (Donald) Helgeson, Thomas, and the late William; dear grandfather of 7 great-grandfather of 7. Resting at Kopick's Tower Home for Funerals, 4007 Joliet Avenue, Lyons, Illinois 60534. Visitation Friday, November 8, 2013, 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Saturday, November 9, 2013, 9 a.m. prayers to St. Hugh Church for 10 a.m. mass. Interment Queen of Heaven. 708-447-7900. My thoughts and prayers to your family in the passing of Uncle Art. The last of the "old" generation. They sure lived long lives. I so enjoyed talking to him more after my grandmother passed away (Martha Edstrom Pearson). I called him a few times to talk about family memories including a recipe for Swedish meatballs. My deepest sympathy to you all.

Heartfelt sympathy to all of my Gustafson cousins and their families. Uncle Arthur was such a kind man...always interested in others. I will never forget how he would always find something that needed fixing when he visited...and then would set about fixing it! You must have so many memories to keep his love going.
