BEVERLY ROSENBERG Obituary
Beverly Rosenberg, 67, whose fun-loving spirit, earthy candor and positive energy touched many lives, died early Monday, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago after a struggle against cancer. i t was a fight she engaged with remarkable valor and humor. A native of Chicago, she attended Von Steuben High School and Wright Junior College and worked as a talented saleswoman at Abt Electronics, the business founded by her parents in 1936. Family and friendships were the foundations of her life. Survivors include her beloved husband of 45 years, Jerry; a son Ronnie (wife Barrie), of Salt Lake City; a daughter Joanna Lansburgh (David), of Chicago; and five grandchildren; as well as a sister Diane Abt (Michael Zielenziger), of Oakland, CA; and brother Robert Abt, of Riverwoods. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to MD Anderson for Neuroendocrine Tumor "NET" Research c/o Dr. James Yao. I only recently heard of the passing of Beverly. I worked with Bev at abt and had the pleasure of spending time in Jamaica with Jerry Bev and Joanna and this is a time and person i could never forget. She was always a darling to me. My deepest condolences

Dear Jerry, Ronnie and Joanna -
I was recently in the ABT store and I looked for your mother. When I found out she was no longer there I tried to locate her on the internet and found her obituary.
I am very sorry to hear of Beverly's passing. Jerry - you and Beverly - were wonderful to me for the many years I babysat for Ronnie and Joanna when you lived in Niles. I know the years have gone by, but I still remember them.

Jerry: As her nurse for several months, I grew to know Bev as a courageous, beautiful lady that faced her diagnosis with grace, dignity, and humor. I can't remember all my patients, but I will never forget you and Beverly.

Jerry, I am so sad to hear this news. Beverly was always such a fun and inviting person. Deep sadness from me. I will always have wonderful memories of her laugh and beautiful spirit. It is with great sadness that I read about Beverly's passing.
She was my one true love in high school. She was then as she was in later life a fun loving and vivacious person.
Although I have not seen her in years she has always had a special place in my heart.
