Hugh Robinson Obituary

Robinson, Hugh S. 85. Beloved husband of the late Deirdre; loving father of Katharine (Thomas) Hill, Deirdre (Alan) Shear and William (the late Suzanne); dear brother of the late Mary Francis Heyd and Warren; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Hugh will also be missed by his devoted caregiver, Chris Mora. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, October 29th from 10 am until time of memorial service 11 am at Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Rd., Highland Park, IL. Inurnment St. Mary Cemetery, Lake Forest, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or to the Humane Society of the United States, 2100 L Street N.W., Washington D.C. 20037. Sam was an example of what a great manager should be. He was fair, generous, tough minded and intelligent. Our industry (insurance) would be far better off if there were more Sams.
