Irving L. Walchirk, 91, devoted husband of the late Gloria, nee Zering and beloved longtime partner of Marilyn Bonner. Loving father of Nina Walchirk (Carlos Barriga), Miriam (Daniel) Berger, Cynthia (Frank) Cohen, Marcie (Michael) Lance and Dr. Gene Walchirk (Deena Schencker). Proud grandfather of Jordan Barriga, Paulette, Rachel and Scott Cohen, Rebecca, Gregory, and Gloriann Lance, Jacob and Max Berger, and Nicole Walchirk. Dear Brother of Victor (Jane) Walchirk, late Florence (Benjamin) Kessler, late Betty (the late Jack) Silverman, late Oscar (Gitta and the late Eva) Walchirk, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Cherished by extended family. Service Monday, 10 a.m. at Congregation Solel, 1301 Clavey Rd., Highland Park. Interment to follow at Westlawn Cemetery. My heartfelt condolences to the family. It's such a difficult time but there are so many who love you and who will be of some comfort in the days ahead.
