Judith Boyle Obituary

Age 75, passed away peacefully January 22, 2021 due to complications from COVID-19. She was born July 21, 1945 in Chicago, IL to John and Roseanne Powers. She grew up with her two sisters and brother as her best friends, attending St. Rita of Cascia and Visitation High School. Judy was known for her caring heart and ability to make friends everywhere she went. Her calendar was full of lunch dates, golf tee-times, Florida trips, and family dinners with her boys. For many years Judy worked at District 128 in Palos Heights. It suited her kind heart and love for children. Every student and teacher that worked with Judy knew that she was fun, patient, gentle, and there to help and serve others. Judy was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She was so proud of raising her children and watching them grow up, cherishing every moment spent together. She especially loved her role as Nana. She had a vibrant personality and always made people around her smile and feel loved. Beloved mother of Michael (Molly) Boyle, Colleen Boyle, and Brian (Abby) Boyle. Adored Nana of Matt, Jack, and Danny. Loving daughter of the late John and Roseanne Powers. Cherished sister of Rosalie Witasik, Katie Soraghan and the late Michael Powers. Dear aunt of many nephews and nieces. Family & friends will gather at Saint Alexander Church, 7025 W. 126th Street, Palos Heights, for a Mass of Resurrection at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 29th. ***You may stream the MASS on our Facebook page because of capacity requirements at church, please see our link below. Due to the nature of her death, the family will be inviting all to participate in a celebration of life at a future date. Details forthcoming. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to Mercy Home for Boys and Girls. Arrangements were entrusted to the KERRY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CARE CENTER in Palos Heights. www.kerryfh.com ~ (708) 361.4235 ~ www.facebook.com/kerryfuneral

Our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Judy Boyle. We first knew Judy back when our sons were both at St. Germaine´s grade school. They played on the basketball team along with their other friends. In the last couple of years, we learned Judy was living in the condo building just behind our building. What a lovely lady!
She belongs to St. Alexander´s Church as we do. God bless her family & all who loved her so much. Bob & Joan Quillman

"Mrs B" was how we and our kids knew her from years of teaching and working with the kids at school. Her obituary describes her to the word. She was always so nice and would take a walk by our house just to see the kids as they grew older. Mrs B you left your mark on the world and a huge impression on my kids young lives. May you Rest In Peace now.
