JULIA SBAROUNIS-FATIGATO Obituary
Julia Sbarounis-Fatigato, beloved wife of Jerry Fatigato; devoted daughter of John and Josephine Sbarounis; dear sister of Tom (Vicki) Sbarounis; sister-in-law of Anthony (Darlene), Tudy, Sam (Sally), John (Donna) and Nick (Kathy) Fatigato; fond aunt of Jenna, Megan, Alexia and Tianna; and great-aunt of Catalina Sbarounis. Julia was a counselor for Fanari Camp. Visitation Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago. Family and friends will meet Friday morning at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, 7373 N. Caldwell Ave., Niles, IL 60714 for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. By Julia's request, kindly omit flowers. Memorial donations to Gilda's Club 537 N. Wells St. Chicago, IL 60654 would be appreciated. Arrangements by John G. Adinamis Funeral Director, Ltd. 773-736-3833.

Deeply saddened to hear that your wonderful wife, Jerry, and my friend from the class of 78 Morton H.S. is no longer with us. Julie was a fabulous women who left an indelible mark on our lives. Beautiful presence, incredible humor, caring, and a loving personality...this is how I will always remember Julie. It is now one year since I last saw Julie at our 30 year H.S reunion. So very sorry to hear that your wonderful wife and my friend from the class of 1978 is no longer with us. She was a fantastic lady with so much to offer everyone who came in contact with her. Beautiful presence, sharp wit and humor, big heart and an absolute joy to be with...this is how I will always remember Julie. One year to the day since I saw her...she will be sorely missed!!

Beautiful Memories
Julie and I grew up across the street from one another in 1968. We graduated from Morton East and as most do, drifted apart. Our 30 year H.S. reunion was the first time and the last time I will see my dearest childhood friend.

We are so saddened to hear of Julia's passing. We have the warmest of memories of her time with the Alfred E. Siegel and Siegel Kurth Organizations. She was a joy to be around. We know we speak for our father, Al Siegel, who passed away this past August, when we extend our deepest sympathies to Julia's family.

Dearest Julia. When I think of this passionate, giving individual, I see Julia's shining face, her boisterous personality, and her beauty inside and out.
From the moment we met at Hyatt, it was a friendship bonded for life.
Julia had the perpetual gift of wanting to help others, needing to help others, and thinking of others always before herself. It was so automatic for her.
This dear soul has been an angel during her life here and she will never be forgotten. You raised a beautiful human being. Julia has made a genuine impact on my life.

Julie will always hold a special place in my heart. She once showed me a simple act of kindness. I don't think she ever knew how important this was for me and my family during a difficult time. This was just her way. I know she is Heaven with the other angels.

I still remember (and always will) the conversations Julia and I had on the 3.5 hour bus ride going up to camp.
She was the dj for Greek/American night at camp-whatever you wanted to hear, she had it right there in her collection. She is now singing beautiful hymns with all the other angels up in heaven and is now at peace. She was a beautiful person inside and out and will be missed by all. Julia, may you rest in peace.

Upset and sadness would be considered an understatement to how I am feeling about the loss of Julia. I had some of the most greatest memorys with her while I was a camper at Fanari and was there the year we made a pillow for Julia. She was a remarkable women and someone who I will never forget. Julia was a special person. Although we had lost touch, I will always remember the hours we spent talking and hanging out watching tv. We laughed and cried together countless times, I will treasure those moments. She was and will forever be, an angel among us. You will be greatly missed.
